Pancreas-kidney transplantation: what every radiologist should know

چکیده

Abstract Pancreas transplantation is a well-established treatment for patients with complicated diabetes mellitus and advanced renal failure. The most common procedure simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation, in which the pancreas graft positioned right pelvic region kidney left iliac fossa. Various imaging methods are used post-transplantation evaluation of parenchyma vascular anatomy, as well identification possible complications. As number cases increases, it fundamental that radiologists understand surgical postoperative to recognize complications their aspects, aim providing best guidance management transplant recipients.
